超音波熔接是利用超音波進行焊接的技術，可用於塑膠與金屬。當用於熔接兩個一樣材質或不一樣材質的塑膠件時，工件相接觸的地方在震動作用下摩擦生熱，塑料由於傳熱慢而被積累的熱量融化，進而達到江兩種塑膠熔接成一體的效果。

 

超音波熔接技術也可用來切除多餘的塑膠結構，亦可用於將金屬部件固定於塑膠上，或是將機械母螺絲熔接埋植於塑膠柱中。

 

Ultrasonic welding is an industrial technique whereby high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld.

 

It is commonly used for plastics, and especially for joining dissimilar materials. In ultrasonic welding, there are no connective bolts, nails, soldering materials, or adhesives necessary to bind the materials together.
